Hello!

My name is Lottie Carroll, I am based in South West Devon with a passion for equine photography. From a young age I have always been surrounded by horses and I am lucky enough to own two gorgeous ones called Sox, a Thoroughbred Ex Racer and Zeno, a Hungarian Sports Horse who was a trekking horse on Dartmoor, he is my 'Golden Oldie'.

 

As well as horses I have a love for dogs, I have an adorable yet manic Short Legged Jack Russell called Spud and a beautiful Ex Racing Greyhound called Bleu, they couldn't be more different if they tried!

Having been around horses all my life I believe this has allowed me to find the best ways to photograph these beautiful animals. During a shoot I love nothing more than photographing the relationship between horse and rider, capturing the loving bond between them both. With my shoots I take a natural approach, which I believe is the best way to prevent getting in the way of the horse and rider and create unique imagery.
